Overview of Mark West - Real Estate Marketing & Sales

Mark is the Founder of Epic Real Estate Solutions, Inc., a Resort Real Estate Project Marketing company with offices in Kelowna BC and Incline Village NV. He is a licensed California Broker and is licensed with Macdonald realtors of Kelowna. Mark has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the Real Estate industry. As the leader of several resort communities and real estate project marketing companies in the US and Canada, his team has developed and executed successful strategies that work in strong markets, slow markets, and not yet tested markets and been involved in hundreds of millions in Real Estate transactions.

Mark and his company have been directly engaged in resort and destination community sales, as well as consulting services, with the following client companies.


As part of a consulting contract commissioned by the Resort, Epic helped create a pricing model that resulted in 129 condo sales totaling $120M in October 2005. The research and advice provided by Epic resulted in a direct profit increase of $8M for the client. Tamarack Resort is located in Donnelly ID.




As part of a seasoned team of sales associates, Mark helped facilitate the sale of 155 condo hotel suites totaling $125M at a one-day sales event for S & P Destination Properties in March 2005. The Resort at Squaw Creek is located in Squaw Valley CA.


Epic's newest client is Stone Creek Resorts based in Calgary Alberta. In partnership with Envision & Storytelling from Vancouver BC, Epic is assisting with the creation of an integrated marketing & sales program designed to market and sell home sites, Resort Village condominiums and town homes at Silver Tip Resort located in Canmore Alberta and Eagle Ranch in Invermere British Columbia. Both Resort communities are multi phase planned developments. The Pinnacle, a 20 suite luxury lodge is scheduled to launch in the summer of 2006 with prices ranging from the $600,000 to $2M.


Working with Spanish Peaks Resort as VP of Real Estate Marketing & Sales in 2004, Mark's team sold 150 properties and club memberships totaling $90M within the first 12 months of preconstruction of five unique home site and cabin neighborhoods. Spanish Peaks is located in Big Sky MT.



While working at Kirkwood CA and Durango Mountain Resort CO as VP of Real Estate Marketing & Sales, Mark West designed and implemented the Sell Out Campaign for the Mountain Club shared-ownership project. With units already on the market for five years, there was little momentum and 51 units left to be sold. Through a series of unique, web-based incentives and promotions all units sold 10 months ahead of schedule, at a fraction of the marketing budget.




While working with Maverick Real Estate as VP of Resort Real Estate Marketing & Sales, Mark helps develop and implement many successful marketing & sales programs; Project successes included creation of a marketing program at Poulsbo Place WA that doubled sales within 6 months. The project had stalled and needed a complete strategic overhaul.

Mark also created the infrastructure for SolVista Realty at SolVista Golf & Ski Ranch in Grand County, Colorado in 2001. This included creating an organizational/administrative structure, developing a marketing & sales strategy, guiding staff development, and managing the construction of a real estate sales centre. Additionally, Mark assisted the Maverick team sell 237 condo hotel suites in 48 hours at the Vancouver Airport Marriott Hotel.
