A stately terrace commands wonderful views of Lake Okanagan and the mountains from all rooms adding to the ambiance.

Located on the lower ground floor is our in our Wine Cellar, where marvelous private dinner parties and wine tastings are held. Why hide your wines away, when you can select your chosen vintage right from the shelves, and soak up the ambiance of a magical evening ahead. The experience of a meal or wine tasting is always an event to remember, be it a group of friends after a day's pastimes together or one of the house's famous dinner parties. Our tasting menus have always been an occasion in themselves, allow the chef to create a 12 course gourmet dinner paired with the sommelier's carefully selected wines that complement each course.

Innkeeper Scott Wilshaw's beliefs are strongly focused towards the pairing of food and wine with music and then balancing this with painting and sculpture so that the experience received is enriched and he believes this allows us to appreciate the world in which we live even more.

Guests who visit Trepanier Manor can relax and enjoy fine wine and good food in an environment with a distinctive and very personal collection of original work - that changes every 2 months, and we gladly host art tours by prior arrangement.

Guests are treated to fine food and wine served in a relaxed atmosphere by a skilled and knowledgeable team dedicated to quality and can select from the following dining options:

The Flambé Room

The Flambé Room Restaurant will be the world's only 100% true flambé restaurant offering its guests a distinctive menu of classical and modern European dishes that are directly prepared in-front of guests on oak trolleys with flambé lamps and vintage copper pans. All the dishes are finished with flames like in the Victorian days, when the grandest of hotels would delight guests with a live theatre of cooking.

The flambé lounge located within the restaurant allows guests to sit in spacious lounge chairs enjoying the stunning scenery, while enjoying a pre-dinner aperitif accompanied with fresh olives flamed before them while deciding what dishes to enjoy in the Flambé Room.

Just like the restaurant, there is trolley work taking place in the lounge; with pre-dinner canapés accompanying either the wine trolley that features 18 wines and Champagnes by the glass or a Martini prepared directly in-front of guests

The "performance" begins and ends in this room. Once the meal is finished guests come back into the lounge to enjoy their coffee with petit-fours and an after dinner drink.

Lords Dining Room

The more formal of the two restaurants, the gracious Lords Dining Room will have a flair for contemporary European elegance and west coast contemplation and will become known for its innovative dishes and elegant dining experience. From the artwork and European antiques decorating the walls, to the impressive ambiance drawn from the crystal chandeliers, to the tables ablaze with candlelight and crystal, Lords will offer guests an understated elegance.

Food is an art form to Trepanier Manor and a team of 16 chefs will take full advantage of the abundance of ingredients found in the surrounding area, blending traditional French techniques with influences from the Pacific Rim. With menus changing seasonally to ensure we can source whatever ingredients are freshest, we compliment the chosen menus with a list of some 700 award winning wines ranging from the modest to the wines that are rich in history.
